01. Do you wash shoes using a washing machine?
No. At Shoe Laundry, we use a100% hand-wash process. Each pair is carefully cleaned by hand according to its material, construction, and condition.
02. Do you use chemicals to clean the shoes?
We useShoe Laundry’s own cleaning solutions and products, developed specifically for professional shoe care. Our products and cleaning methods are selected according to the shoe material and condition.
03. Do you dry the shoes in direct sunlight?
No. Wedo not use direct sunlight for drying. Our shoes are completelyair-driedusing a controlled drying process.
04. Do you guarantee that my shoes will be safe during cleaning?
We carefully inspect every pair before cleaning and select the appropriate cleaning method based on the shoe's material, age, construction, and condition.
Before we begin the cleaning process, we provide a Pre-Cleaning Inspection Report documenting the condition of the shoes. Cleaning only begins after the customer has reviewed and approved the reported condition.
05. Do you provide Pickup & Delivery?
Yes. We provide Free Pickup & Delivery within 15 KM of our Shoe Laundry location.
For locations between 15 KM and 20 KM, an additional LKR 1,500 Pickup & Delivery Fee applies.
06. How long does it take to clean my shoes?
The turnaround time depends on the service selected and the condition of the shoes.
Our standard services generally take between 2–5 days, while express options are available for selected services.
07. Can you clean every type of shoe?
We work with a wide range of materials includingmesh, canvas, leather, suede and other footwear materials. However, every shoe is different. We inspect the pair first and recommend the most suitable service based on its material and condition.
08. Will my shoes look exactly like new after cleaning?
Results depend on the shoe's material, age, previous wear, stains, discoloration, damage and overall condition. Our goal is to achieve the best possible result using an appropriate and material-safe treatment process.
09. Can I send photos before booking?

10. Can I request a specific cleaning service?
Yes. You can select a service based on your requirements. However, our team may recommend a different service after reviewing the condition of your shoes to ensure the treatment is appropriate.
